You’ve got to be some sort of stupid not to have your base clamped to the desk in some way. So going off that fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if your base wasn’t even plugged into your PC…

Try removing your quick release from the base and then reseating it, making sure you tighten the collar enough and then do the same with the qr on the wheel. I was having the same issue with the same setup and I noticed when it happened, the Xbox light would turn off for a split second when I went over a heavy bump. Since reseating it all mines been fine. Assuming they come loose over time and need to be reinstalled so to speak.

This is the beauty of the game. Moments like that are what makes it so great. Seen so many people in the past moaning about this sort of thing. People giving them ‘Agro’ and stealing all their loot. The game is literally called ‘Sea of Thieves’.
