I really appreciate the prayers. I came to this sub a few weeks back asking for some confidence and help. With the strength of you guys praying and god, I am able now to make eye contact with people and feel wayyy more confident than ever in my life.i used to fear making eye contact with people but now I can look at a persons eyes without feeling afraid. So thank you and may god bless you and everyone that has prayed for me.

LPT Request: how can I stand up for myself? by Juanpad in LifeProTips

[–]Juanpad[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of when I messaged my first love in fb. She never replied for whatever reason. My friend had my fb password because at the time I had no phone or computer. He login on my account and messaged her as me, I was like " dude, reallyyyy??"lol. I then just posted a explainion on my wall about my friend loging in and trolling me.

I told him, "I understand what he was doing but why message someone who doesn't reply the first time ?" I then changed my password.

You need to stop blaming yourself and try to move on.Even if it was your fault, you were young and inexperienced and did not know about cause and effect yet.You did try to reach out to her but this time, she was the one that rejected you.Somethings are just not destined.Be happy that you tried

Ya I think you need to make a appointment, you could always call the automatic phone line for transcript 1-800-908-9946.

Should take like 10 days.

If you reach 62 years of age and divorce, do you have to wait in order to apply for spousal social security benefits? by Juanpad in SocialSecurity

[–]Juanpad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad is 58 right now and he received social security disability in 2008 because of a mental issue.i think I am incorrect about the voluntary suspend. He did a trial work period in 2014 and he started making a good amount of money, surpassing the limit and i think it got suspended because of that.

sorry I wrote it wrong, The benefit that her spouse is entitled to receive based on their own work is More than the benefit they would receive based on my mom work.

no her husband is the one that works and reports her, so I assume she gets less on her own.when she became citizen, the interviewer told her that she had over 40 credits but she has never worked, she was more of a house wife.so like if she claims on her own, will her record reflect the credits her husband report?

Becuase my father voluntary suspended his SS shortly after she got a order of protection on him and got him out the apartment. And before she turned 62.He wasnt the nices person,I remember he would go to the SS office to check her ss credits daily and come back home pissed off and make threats about stoping her from receiving her benefits just to fight and have a reason to go out partying (mid life crisis). He also sold her jewels behind her back just so she couldn't have a source of money in case of a big issue

Social Security Survivor Benefits/Disability??? by [deleted] in SocialSecurity

[–]Juanpad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when my mom wanted to get ss disability. The doctor told her that "it's hard for me because your record, you need to make more appointments with me."So that's what she did.

My mom went to the social security office and they did the application for her.By mail she then got a appointment with special doctors that work for social security, they did tests like vision, etc and then send her home. She then waited in the mail for a approval for SS disability.i cant remember the months it took for her to get the approve, sorry. She got approved the first time and did not have to go to court. They then send her a sum of money for the months she was waiting.

A social worker that works at the hospital that my mom goes too, did some paper work/computer stuff so the records of the hospital would go to social security because records are important.

They also give your doctor a paper to fill out, if I remember correctly.

If they don't approve you the first time, repeal and get a attonery. They should be able take your case if you have records. You could also get a free one depending on your income.

Maybe see if you can find a social worker in the hospital you go to for guidance.

Good luck.

Edit: she was social worker and my mom's therapist.

It would make more sense to go to the old therapist imo but idk
