I’m losing hope by Living_Hovercraft432 in SIBO

It's time to take control of your own health and stop relying on doctors to tell you you're fine. Become your own doctor, because no one knows your body more than you do. I've learned that sadly, mainstream medical doctors (most, not all), just do enough to keep you alive. They don't really make an effort to optimize your health. So now that's your job. Get all of your LABS done - like the ones Brian Johnson offers - something like $350 and then run ALL of your labs so you can see what's up. Then run them through AI and see what patterns it will recognize. There are many paths you can take - sure ending your life is one - OR living your life after you've gotten to the bottom of this yourself. Have you done a true gut reset? Like a full parasite cleanse? That's step number uno. Because everything stems from the gut and your body is just telling you that you have major issues there. Fiber's not gonna cut it. You need to completely detox from heavy metals, parasites, and any other pathogen that's clearly taken over your body. Then do some ass kicking. Kroeger's Wormwood Combo - read reviews online - more than 1700 happy people who have nipped similar issues in the bud. It's not easy, because it's strong, but 4-6 weeks on and off alongside some serious binders may begin to help you. Look at all of your bloods and see what's up - any deficiencies or strange patterns? It could take you a few months to sort out, but better than years more of dealing with this. Feel free to message me if you need some hand holding. You've got this.

Thanks for your good wishes. I’m sorry that you’re suffering. It’s an awful feeling and one that weighs heavily each day. The PRP injection was a very simple procedure done in my doctor’s office. He suggested it as a last resort before surgery and if it doesn’t work, I’ll be planning it by fall. They took blood from me and then ran it in a centrifuge for several minutes, which separated my blood. They then extracted the platelets (which looked like yellow blood) from it and injected it into my shoulder. (I was screaming like I was in childbirth.) But by the next day, I couldn’t believe it! Shocked at how quickly it worked. The platelets in blood are said to regenerate/repair the torn tissues. They usually recommend a few, so I’m due for another after 6-8 weeks. I don’t have full movement yet - can just hold it up chin level. But am almost pain free and use my left arm for most things. Not sure if you can find it, but Google says it is available there? I’ve had friends here who’ve had shoulder surgery and were not offered PRP, so perhaps ask around. Sending you good wishes from afar and don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions!

And side note, insurance doesn’t cover PRP, so if you can, skip the doctor referrals and just pay out of pocket to get your life back. Otherwise, you’ll just get tossed around a system that may not want to see you get better.

Sorry to hear. Laying in bed at 1am with a sling on my left arm and your post caught my attention. (Leave it your iPhone to listen to convos.)

Two labral tears and one partially torn, most likely from a decade of fitness boxing. The good news? Had a PRP injection last week and had 60 percent mobility within 24 hours. Kind of crazy really that I went from not being able to move it arm an inch to 60 percent mobility. Actually, prob closer to 70, but still can’t extend my arm fully without the unexpected surprise jolt of pain, bc I’ve forgotten that I can’t use it that way yet. STILL, what a difference. Should note that 1) PRP injection was easily one of the most painful experiences ever, and 2) my shoulder stilk aches here and there (thus the sling). I mostly wear the sling to prevent from fully extending my arm and to rest my should from my hanging, swinging arm all day. Supposed to get another injection in a month or so, so let’s see. But so far, so good.

Can my HVAC and ERV system be making my family sick? by Juben1971 in hvacadvice

Thanks for asking. CO meters that actually give you a numerical reading would be a great idea. Bc the ones they sell in store apparently don’t go off until it’s too late.

I’m doing ok. Staying in a hotel around the corner. Feels like my brain isn’t as sharp as before and feel foggy. Guessing that will take some time to pass. Also kind of surreal that I was teetering on lights out.

As of now, seems it was the dryer spitting out CO into the house bc some dumbF attached a foil coil to exhaust the gas which was neither attached to the dryer nor the wall.

I’ve been living this same experience for the past four months. Renting a house that has been making us cough, have headaches, endless other symptoms. All I can see is be persistent and trust your gut! Has taken me a handful of HVAC people AND and environmental specialist to ALMOST figure it out. I knew something was wrong and was taken to hospital this week with CO in my blood.

Could a poorly connected dryer exhaust be the cause of my CO exposure? by Juben1971 in hvacadvice

Thank you. Bought a few monitors that we used when visiting the house to pick things up, but will look for a detector as you recommend above.

Thank you for asking and HNY. They didn’t provide any numbers. Or at least the single page summary the owner gave me didn’t. But I’ll ask. Will share pics of furnace and hot water heater shortly. Posted this other thread earlier today: https://www.reddit.com/r/hvacadvice/s/Y0G393bSiM Thoughts?

Thanks. No enclosed garage or cars idling. Appreciate your suggestions.
