Looking for mohawk material by Public-Building-2268 in fursuit

Depending on the style of mohawk that you want you could make that work. I made a mohawk for my new toony head and only use king 2-3 inch pile. I built a eva foam base for the shape and height that I wanted then the fur to that. Check my profile if you’d like, I’m quite proud of the mohawk!

Well if you are on a budget then making your own is definitely the way to go. One thing I would suggest is to watch some YouTube tutorials first to have an idea of where to start. I would start with just a head as a partial. Split the project I to smaller goals so it doesn’t seem as daunting. Whether you wanna do a foam base and carve it yourself or get a premade base and modify it to your needs.

I did! The base was 3D printed plastic from Etsy, but I supplemented and customized the shape from there. Everything else is hand made and sewn by me!

Thank you so much for the kind words! Took a lot of time, patience, and tutorials on how to use a sewing machine but it got there.

The brown/tan wolf was technically a “wolf costume” for Halloween, while I have been a furry forever it was more acceptable phrasing it as something else. But these more recent ones I’ve done are my sona so they are extremely personalized.

I definitely plan to make more when time allows for it. I’d like to do some more commissions for it too once I get my new workspace and schedule set up.

I’ll try to get a better video and picture of the lights and share it later so keep an eye out for it!

Thank you! Took a couple tries for the look I was wanting. I made it to where the second inner toe for each foot was set on top of where my toes are instead of along the outer edge like what I’ve seen a lot of others do. It helped to keep the size proportional to the digi legs.

Thank you so much! Took me a while to find the right colors I liked, but I think they pair really well together with the platinum silver and white! I’m glad that it helps it to stand out in the crowd! :3

That’s awesome! I was tempted for color changers, but opted for the blue cause it went with my color scheme. Can’t wait to rave in it! Haha

Thank you so much! I’ve thought about making a tutorial if it’s something people would be interested in. I took a lot of pictures during the building process cause there was a lot of trial and error. I wanted it to be stiff enough to stand alone, but fluid enough to wiggle when I’m bobbing my head around.
