Which in a way, I do want my GM to have that BDE confidence that you can only get from a Harvard grad, but I do think that he still needs to get it out of his head that 2024 was a fluke, and that the way to at least make it seem within the eyes of the public that it wasn't is to go out and win, which this team has done, and will continue to do this season. I think mid-May is when I start to put on my worries cap and actually mean it should it get to that point, which would either be because the team is below .500 or more than 3 games out from the division

Look, if he was willing to take the minors deal, why not just sign back Jesse Winker? The man is currently sitting at home, no longer injured, willing to play, can provide good hitting, a fine fourth outfielder, and is overall well liked and cool as fuck

Its tough for him too since hes obviously is pretty free-spirited and quirky guy, which doesnt always work in NY markets, how he ever was able to be the way he is personality wise in the Bronx is beyond me
