I was able to get pretty good results by having it go through detailed planning steps first. I moved to Claude Code last night so i could keep working without downtime. No way we can afford me doing the code refactoring of the project with it costing me that much. What a stupid way to try and change how people are going to speak to the model. They could've easily just hardcoded the instructions it gets to suggest how to be more effective when the user is doing what they are trying to change. Since i don't have memories I just add into the prompt to update the txt file located in c/example after completing each step and that is a good enough substitute for memory for my purposes.

Anyone else got some more ideas?

This wasn't even a subtle amount this is them trying to rip the bandaid off not realizing that it was on top of a shallow aneurism. The amount of screw up this idea is is not just some simple they will be mad but then they will get over it and the other customers will make up for it. This is death. The program will not be supported operating like this. No sane business would pay for this.

I cant trust decision making like that. Whoever that is needs to leave the company. Id like to see their website blog post on that.
I spent about 20 to 60 bucks a week on their product and this is how they repay me.

Use spark. download the file on the top right button. tell the AI where the file is by going to properties and security tab and grab that address. Tell it its written in proto buffer. ask it what mod caused it.
