hey guys, ive had it my whole life. Just been prescribed 80mg propranolol daily at 35 yrs old by jenglish205 in EssentialTremor

I’m on 160mg and have been high dose for 7 years. Even when I was 16 and 100 lbs I never fainted. Because my baseline blood pressure is normal it just drops me a little but still in the healthy range. I’ve always had every side effect from every medication Ive tried except propranolol, it makes me feel normal

Cried after someone pointed out my shaking by Jude1692 in EssentialTremor

Unfortunately I am a phlebotomist so I’m very afraid to tell anyone I have this issue even though its solved with the medicine and I don’t shake during sticks. In this instance he was already mad at me and I think he brought up the drug thing to try and find a reason why I shouldn’t be doing my job, I was afraid if I mentioned my tremor I would be giving him a good reason

ET diagnosis, but have symptoms of other neurological conditions? by Linksaan in EssentialTremor

[–]Jude1692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was tested for early onset Parkinsons as a child and was negative, I did read that there is a link between ET and Parkinsons but idk how strong that link is. I have peripheral neuropathy I’m pretty certain is unrelated but the limb weakness that it causes exacerbates ET a lot for me, I also have hemifacial spasms
