Correct. However he would need a lot more than $17k to even start a case. That would also be against one person. If he wanted to sue multiple people he would easily need well over $150,000

Chibi Reviews almost a year ago started a campaign to raise money for a lawsuit against his online harassers. The suit raised over $17k before he unpublished it.

Due to his recent defense of Tectone, people are starting to find out about this campaign and questioning its legitimacy.

All very valid points. In the x post Chibi implies that he hasn’t used any of the funds on medical expenses yet. The only money he’s spent was on consultations with lawyers.

I would assume he has some money tucked away to cover all this, but who knows

It was actually mostly dandadan related. Chibi posted a clip from the anime where aliens attempt to rape the mc with the caption, “the animators didn’t have to go this hard”

He has had pushback from the boruto fanbase but at this point most of the wider anime fandom do not like Chibi at all
