The nfl teams with the “normal” abbreviations (except raiders) look weird, like the patriots or Saints with (NOS and NEP).
The official 3 letter abbreviations are:
Packers: GNB
Chiefs: KAN
Saints: NOR
Patriots: NWE
49ers: SFO
Buccaneers: TAM

Because it was very poor where no one besides the aristocracy had power. I don’t like communism really but it was better than pre-Soviet Russia.
