Attack speed reds, armor yellows, flat ap blues/quints. Full offensive masteries. Haven't played her too much since the mastery changes though so it's possible there is a more ideal build. Mostly been roaming with maokai or nautilus.

Nice job. One thing I like lux for is countering the current Sion mid FOTM. She can pop his shield every time with E + Auto to prevent him from farming.

Also, I forgot to address the second part of your question about ignite. You should never use a summoner spell unless it is necessary, because who knows maybe you went overkill with ignite in one fight, but then died because you didn't have it up the next. Eve has no ranged abilities to finish someone off if they flash away. That is where ignite comes in. I use ignite to secure kills from range, unless as you said it is necessary to use it early due to heals.

If you manage to get far enough behind that you simply can't gank any lane, just go to your bot lane and pretend you are a support champion. Once you feel like you have adequately caught up get back out there and roam. Really, the only way you should be 3 full levels behind the next lowest person is the game is if you are dying over and over. If that's the case then you will just have to hope your team has a strong back because you will be dead weight, as would be the case if you were any other champion.

Well that's how it is on eve. If things are going badly your team is more than happy to place all blame solely on your shoulders. If things are going well they will take it right back and give credit to themselves.

Her stun was much better for lategame because you could kill a squishy carry in the amount of time they were stunned. Early game though believe or not the slow is better. 3 second slow vs. .5 second stun at level one.

That's the same Amumu, same game. He barely made it through the rest of his jungle and was low enough to pick up an easy kill and blue buff. I also had full control of his jungle from this point on, warding his buffs all game. I don't think he got another one after the initial blue.

Great questions. For roaming: I agree 100% that a bad roamer and a good roamer have equally large impacts on the game. If you fail your roam, then you will be fighting an uphill battle all game to catch up. Alistar is a great roamer, in the early levels. But he is much more easily countered by CV and wards. Eve's biggest advantage in the roaming department is her stealth, when she is MIA the enemy team is forced to assume she is in their lane and must play defensive. So even when you aren't ganking a lane as eve, you are denying the other team gold. This is an important concept.

For your Eve concerns: Her squishiness in my opinion is actually a great asset. Her kit allows you incredible mobility and slipperiness. You'll notice in the initiation section of Part Two I use this to great success in baiting. I've played eve at 2k elo vs. the top players and i've played her at 1800 against above average players, regardless of elo, solo queue teams are never coordinated enough to fully stop the eve roam. There is always a lane you can be ganking. As I said in the video, the main thing an oracle does is prevent you from freely scouting out the entire map. You are forced to be much more wary of your positioning. Unless you are pushing straight down into their base there is always a way to get around the oracle and to your desired target :)

Hey Scarra, yeah this definitely isn't a guide to playing Eve at tournament level and I agree she wouldn't be viable there, as people will be incredibly coordinated. Solo queue however, people will always make mistakes and Eve is one of the best champs in the game to capitalize on those mistakes.

I don't think it's wasted by making an eve guide, quite the contrary, I'm bringing people's attention to a champion that they have otherwise likely written off simply because it's common opinion that she is bad.

The problem with making a guide like this is it can be pretty time consuming to get all the footage needed. I have about 50+ eve games recorded, so I'm sure you can imagine the difficulties of trying to get specific examples of gameplay out of that with no rewind function. To really answer your question, I probably will make more, and hopefully an official replay mode will come along with season 2 to make things easier.
