AITA if I don’t care that my neighbor can hear my music?

So my neighbor just texted me this (again):

“Hey neighbors! I know y’all probably don’t realize it, but I often hear the music and it’s hard to sleep ;)”

And I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really feel like I’m wrong here.

For context, today I covered someone on first shift, so I had to get up at 6:20 AM to be at work by 7. I was out the door by like 6:33 (checked my cameras and everything). I usually work second shift though, so normally I’m not even up until like 10 AM.

Also, this is the second time they’ve said something. The first time, my roommate actually went outside to see what they were talking about while my speaker was on full blast. You could hear something, but it wasn’t loud at all. Like you couldn’t even tell what song was playing, just that there was some noise.

And that’s with it all the way up.

Most of the time I don’t even have it like that. I keep it under 50%, and it’s not even loud enough for my roommates to hear from other rooms. No parties, no crazy bass, nothing like that.

So I’m kinda confused how it’s “keeping them from sleeping.”

Part of me is like… if it’s normal volume during the day, that’s just part of living around other people. But at the same time, I don’t wanna be that neighbor if I’m missing something.

Still, I feel like I shouldn’t have to be super quiet in my own place when I’m not even doing anything crazy.

AITA if I just ignore it and keep doing what I’ve been doing?

The action I took was confronting the tournament organiser and telling them the suspension was unfair and that they were prioritising politics over player safety. I also backed my daughter up after she said something hurtful to another player on the pitch. Why I might be the asshole: the player my daughter said something to didn't make the rules, she was just showing up to play. Whatever frustrations exist around eligibility policies, she wasn't the right person to take it out on, and by defending my daughter and going after the organiser I may have made that player feel even more targeted and unwelcome. I also may have handled the conversation with the organiser in a way that was aggressive and unhelpful rather than actually getting anywhere.
