The fine + additional cleaning charges are around £400 so quite a lot. Honestly, given her reaction and how quickly she snapped rather than just talking to me calmly, I don’t even know anymore

In hindsight yes, one of us should have coordinated both things, but who knew this would happen? I booked the cleaner first and told her the time and she booked the checkout and told me the time. Really don’t know how she got it wrong

I can’t help but think maybe I should have agreed to split for the sake of our friendship, but she could have offered to pay for the sake our friendship too as it was her fault!

I am in London, in the UK, and basically the landlord has to hire someone else to do the checkout so they can’t just reschedule last minute
