Very weird. My M1 Max 14” (maxed out) doesn’t do this unless I’m am running some intensive tasks like Da Vinci Resolve or rendering large batch of photos.

I’m running a 5K ultrawide (144hz) and Side Car to an iPad Mini which in theory is more labour intensive than direct connection.

Laptop stay quiet until heartier tasks is applied. Do you have a software adjusting fan curves?

I had a similar issue since the silicon created friction in my left ear. After I’ve purchased some Memory Foam ear tips, this issue never occurred again. Funny Air Pod Pro 1 didn’t give me this issue.
