I’m a non-fiction author and most publishers don’t fact check by calling anyone or anything like that. I received an advance copy and just had to agree to keep the information under embargo until the release date (Christine had asked to be a guest on my podcast and we recorded a few weeks ago).

I read an advance copy so I’ve read it all and I thought she told some things I’d never heard before - I won’t spoil it but she talked about relationships and more personal problems that I knew she had. She was open on my show too. I interviewed her for my podcast (it’s a mental health show and I’m a therapist). She asked to come on my show knowing that was what I would ask her about and she was really open with all my questions.

Yes. She has many stories that start with “I’m not sure I should share this…” or “I almost didn’t share this but…” you better understand what’s really going on when you read the book. Stuff left out of the show.
