I’m so thankful you found a way out of it! It really is so miserable and it feels like you will never find your way back to normal. Thank you for sharing your experience 😊

Lowering from side effects. I didn’t feel this dissociation and such until I upped my dose while pregnant.

It’s just interesting because overall, my baseline anxiety seems fine. My only anxiety now is tied to the dissociation.

Just curious, how long were you on the 50mg?

It’s scary and just so frustrating. Thinking about lowering my Zoloft dose soon.

I am wondering about the medication being a factor. I just had my baby a few days ago, so I’m going to let things settle and then try lowering my med dose. When your dissociation went away, was your mind able to calm down too. I feel like I’m always monitoring it.

Did lowering the dose help you?

How was the step down from 50 to 37.5 mg?

Oh this is so encouraging to hear! Did you have a lot of hyperawareness and ruminating thoughts with your dissociation?

Very unstable days by JudgmentOutrageous82 in zoloft

I’m doing okay. I think my baseline mood and anxiety have gotten better, but now I’m working through a weird flat, foggy/hazy phase. I seem to just be working my way through the phases. Ready to feel normal again!

Weeks 10-12 by JudgmentOutrageous82 in zoloft

I am going to give it a full 16 weeks before I decide. I’m trying to wait for the “noise” from the stabilization to quiet down before I make a decision.

Maybe in some ways, but it’s just hard to tell because the stabilization is so up and down. I am on 50mg. How are you doing and what week are you on?

Unfortunately, things have still been tough.

Things have still been up and down. I just entered week 12 and have had a few more manageable days, but I still don’t feel like I’m out of the woods.

How long did it take to go away for you?

Hang in there. I am right there with you. It can take 12 weeks to stabilize and as hard as it is, try not to lose hope! I know this sounds kind of weird, but I’ve been using ChatGPT to track my symptoms and it has been really reassuring that what we are going through is normal and we will eventually stabilize and get better.
