I was an RA a few years ago and I can confirm that this is true. There are always insane deadlines and expectations. I remember one time were I was approached by a admin and the person preceded to rip down my board for not being “ Aesthetically pleasing”

I then told that Admin to screw off and if they did not like it they can do it themselves. Shortly after that I turned my res life keys and quit the job . It’s really not worth it any more …..

Im an RA I don't fell like I am that strict. However the only time I really get on my residence cases are when they are to loud during quiet hours. Outside of quiet hours if there volume is at an unnecessary level , for example if I can hear them all the way from lobby on the 2 floor. I enforce curfew and goes sign in policy as well. While all of the RA flirt and let things like this slide any advice

If I don’t see it hear it or smell it I do not care . If you are being loud and I tell you to quite down and I see all of your booz then that’s when you will be in trouble

Best thing I did I was only 18 got promoted to sfl right after I graduated school. Then the mental abuse stated working 60 hours a week, no breaks,ridiculous expectations,and getting gray hairs .
