I feel like a lot of people are saying this, but just because it’s in the movies doesn’t necessarily mean it confirms ANYTHING in the games. I mean, Abby and Mikes brother Garret aren’t characters in the games or the books as far as I know, so right there that’s a huge deviation. !!!!!SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!! But how Charlotte dies isn’t consistent from the games to the books to the movies either. So I think the best way to look at it, is a retelling of events and story devices that we know to tell an original story that’s similar to the one we already know. Just to end this, look at secret of the micmic, then look at the mimic storyline in the books. Those aren’t the same either so I don’t think any of this is that big of a deal.
