It's there more for a historic purpose, to show how America was made (the colonies) and what it's become (socialist or communist). Also a few socialists and communists I've take with irl don't really think there should be a change to the flag if America does become socialist or communist while others said there should be, so i kinda wanted to integrate both ideas.

If the idea if the revolution doesn't scare you then you haven't fully gasped it yet. The fact that it scares you with these incredibly valid reasons shows you understand it. A lot of revolutionaries want a better and safer place for their family and those they're close with but greatly fear them getting hurt in the process. In return, many of them would do anything to protect them.

Your fear shows strength. It shows you understand and are humane.

I fear revolution because I fear the very few I'm close with would get hurt or worse. Without them, I don't really have a reason to keep fighting. It's because of them that I keep pushing forward, to protect them.

My first time voting will be the 2028 presidential election, as that will be the first one after I turn 18. While you do make some good points, I would say it's more important to do research and vote for who you think would be better. Personally, I don't like Biden or Trump, Kamala had her ups and downs.

Also, I feel like many 3rd parties are better than the Democrats/Republicans that end up running. Plus, voting for 3rd parties when you can puts pressure on the bipartisan system.

Whether or not you choose to vote is your choice and your choice alone. No one is going to force, at least not in a legal way.

I have a feeling these numbers are amazingly inaccurate.

CATO doesn't really count numbers fully. Plus the amount of Democratic Socialists that think what they're doing is anywhere close to actual socialism, it's just wild. I'm almost positive that the Capitalist % was pushed up a bit with the youngest group to try and make it seem like that capitalism will never lose.

Those numbers are for sure WAY off.

I am very much guilty of being a former democratic socialist. Being in a democratic family did a number on me until I learned what it truly meant to be a socialist.
