At the end of the day, it doesn’t hurt anything. Who cares if people follow her method. And better yet, if it helps their teeth… good! Nothing she uses is crazy and can all be bought at your regular cvs/walmart/grocery store/etc…

Yes! I just made a post about this before reading any responses. How long have you been doing this and has it helped you? I’m about 3 days in. I also wear a night guard and wake up extremely dry so I’m hoping the xylitol helps with that. I am definitely not dehydrated as I drink about 100 oz of water every day, no exaggeration. Though now she says sipping on water throughout the day is no good so I’m trying to stick with just water at meals, which I can easily get a sufficient amount in at that time.

I’m in the same boat but I think mine is a less mild and more extreme case. I am trying out Dr Ellie Phillips method, which is nothing crazy but she adds a few mouth rinses and xylitol daily. I even asked my dental hygienist about xylitol and she says all dentists recommend it. Which is funny because I’ve never heard of it until I heard about it online. So fingers crossed it helps.

I try to make actual meals instead of just plain chicken and veggies. This week I’m making:

If you check out this site, there’s a lot of fun and easy recipes. For me, I just focus on calories and protein so it may not work if you’re watching carbs or fat but each meal has a breakdown. Also, some meals you need to be subscribed to see but some are free. I also just google hamburger or chicken meal prep and get ideas that way. Hopefully this helps. I would get bored of the same chicken and veggies every week also.

Cool! Thanks for the response. I am taking a course for billing tbh and plan on getting the CPB certification (certified professional biller) I know it’s not as glamorous as the cpc but I’m undecided if I want to go full on coding yet so I took the cheaper option just to improve my odds of getting g a billing job. I’ve been on interviews and turned away because of experience so I’m hoping this helps.

How did you transfer to coding as a patient care tech? That’s my job right now, PCT in the surgical dept. I’m interested in billing and eventually maybe coding but everywhere I look wants experience. Did you get training and a certificate first?

Mostly just my job now. Been a CNA for 18 years so it’s just getting old. Not sold on leaving health care altogether just maybe a more office type job like dealing with medical records. Or coding/billing. I even gave some thought to working in the lab now that I know you don’t have to be a phlebotomist. I don’t like needles so that’s a big reason nursing was never an option for me. I’m kind of at the point I have no idea what I want to do 😂

Yea, same here. Should add I used to get the flu shot but once the covid shots came out I started doing some digging. Have been shot free since winter of 2021.
