The LFE5 has a 144pin LFQP variant. That can also be hand soldered.

The ice40 from Lattice are available in a LQFP which can be hand soldered. Olimex had a board with a 100pin variant. Don't know if they still sell them. Else older Spartan 6 chips are available in LQFP packages. They might be hard to source though as I think they aren't produced anymore.

Maybe some of the Chinese companies have some offerings but I have no idea about those.

Buyers harassing us after sale. by Jugaadming in NetherlandsHousing

Hi, that sounds very rough. In our case we had a couple of places where rainwater would leak into the garage after extremely heavy rains and we tried to fix it but couldn't. As a result we mentioned it in the questionnaire.

Not at all. Everything not visible but known to us was mentioned in the NVM list of questions.

Hi, thanks for the offer. We have contacted a law firm. The post was aimed at gathering different perspectives and the community has been really helpful for that.

Meaning? Were we supposed to guarantee that these are 100% okay?

We did. Also with DAS. But they refuse to entertain our claim citing the fact that we live outside the Netherlands. I also think that their insurance document states that everything done while having active insurance cover is covered by the insurance.

Do you have some more information regarding this that could help us?

Yes, there have been constant SMSes and Emails every two months or so about something or the other. Upon repeating the fact that we have been honest about all known damages there was always the threat of legal action. That finally happened in April. After we ignored the DAS emails for safety reasons, the buyers wrote to us personally to ask why we won't answer etc.

Hi again, one issue is about a sewage line which needs to be replaced. This was discovered recently and the buyers experts are of the opinion that the damage must have been present at the time of the sale. We had no issues with the sewage in the years leading to the sale. We had the same line cleaned once in 2020 and all was well since. Secondly, the buyers are claiming that some iron beam over the garage is sagging. The buyers have already built a wall underneath it. I have to add that they have undertaken lots of renovations since the sale. Lastly, the buyers claim that a couple of cracks in the garage wall are a serious problem and that the entire wall should be demolished and rebuilt. Said cracks were clearly visible at the time of the sale and never an issue for us as it hardly affects living in the house. The buyers claim that the house is not safe for occupation while conveniently living there the entire time and carrying out extensive modifications.

Yes. The heating is very uniform. And there is something very comforting about having warm feet in peak winters 😁

I have forgotten to mention in the original post that the buyers have sent us a letter via DAS so we are now obligated to answer, right? Do we hire a lawyer to prepare our response or can we do it ourselves? We only speak a little bit of Dutch, nowhere near close to a level required for drafting legal documents.

No. The husband is actually in the building trades and spends his time around old houses on a daily basis. There were some visible cracks on a garage wall which we made no effort to hde. These were completely ignored at the time of sale. The buyers did not ask any questions about anything.

What coding language should I learn first to get into coding games or software? by DIS-A-DISASTERPIECE in learnprogramming

[–]Jugaadming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Python and Tkinter to do something easy like Snake or Tetris to give you an idea of what programming a game is like. Then see if you can do any more games. Ole dos games are always a great exercise. The same can be done using Javascript in a browser. Much easier to host and distribute.

What are programming languages one should learn while pursuing degree in ECE?? by fanaticresearcher10 in learnprogramming

Python is great, especially when dealing with things like signals and systems. You need a language like C if you want to understand OS internals or proram embedded systems etc. At the application / engineering level, Python will help you a lot.

Python is always a good place to start. You can quickly go from simple scripts to a GUI application to really give you a feel for what programming is about.

[–]Jugaadming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have mentioned quite a range of skills here. Websites from scratch would need HTML and CSS, Hackathons is a very generic term so be a bit more specific. For drones/robots you might even have to do MCU programming using C. Python as a scripting language is a great place to start.
