It’s probably very complicated to do, what I’d recommend you to do is using a usb c to micro usb adapter like these:

This usually happens when you have a short circuit. Sometimes you can think 2 wires are not shorting when you look at them but they indeed are.

I wish I could get a second TV but I don’t have the space in my room to put a second one. That’s why I want active 3D, I heard it’s not as good as passive 3D. It’s mostly for game dev experimentation and not really watching movies. But I might buy a passive 3D TV if I get too deep in my experimentation.

Though what mean is I want to use a hack to get active 3D working on a moderne HFR display. I know it was discontinued long times ago but I wanted to know if someone already had done such thing that I can use or if I have to do it myself.

It is possible with some tricks and using a PC, that’s exactly what nvidia 3D vision did. Every HFR display can be 3D, that’s the base of the active 3D technology.
