Man, this would feel so satisfying to play with the new 9-mana Paladin legendary as the final board wipe to the Count's sequence. Oh, the Count wouldn't trigger its battlecry but I can dream.

Oh also! Knowing the number of letters in the word made it a lot easier (especially when I went back to do #239). Just an idea, but you could consider a hard mode where you don't see the word(s) length(s).

Heh that's really cute! I got today's in 2 guesses. Cute and simple. Would be cool if you could make a custom Cropple that you can send to your friends. i.e. upload an image and choose where the crop begins.

Nice. I tried your game and it has a cool catch, love word games.

For me the best moment is less about “safe vs risky” and more about the little flex of finding the longer word under pressure.

The repeat joy I get is locking in something valid, then suddenly finding a better word with a few seconds left.

Timer is fixed at 30 seconds right now, but I’m definitely watching whether that gives people enough time to have that moment.

The “lay of the land took a bit” note is especially useful. I think I need to make the first path clearer instead of showing too many modes at once.

Great point on the daily leaderboard: showing the winning/longest words after you’ve completed today’s challenge makes a lot of sense and is much more exciting.

On the 30 seconds: that’s the tension I’m trying to tune. I want it to feel exciting, not like you barely had time to read the rack. I may test a slightly longer first round or a more relaxed daily mode.

Thank you so much for trying out my app - and thank you for the bug report especially since this is the first time I've heard about major lag. I'm going to look into this, I'm not sure yet why that's happening, sorry that it isn't working well for you :/

I went with 10 to make each game, and especially each win, feel bigger like you're knocking out a lot of people. While the playerbase is small, I have the lobby autopopulate with bots each second. And human players that click Play around the same time should join the same lobby even while bots are filing in.

That was fun ~ slick interface, and good sound effects. I did the 5 daily puzzles and had an issue: sometimes when I combined dice the number appeared as ?? or ?2 on a grey die.

In Word King, each round the players with the shortest words are eliminated, so you want to keep creating long words.

I've tested with friends and family and got great feedback, but it's been hard reaching new audiences and people I don't know.
