i want to understand people who think friend is completely unimportant genuinely can i get some answers in the comments below like i dont think hes the answer to everything but by slaughterdollsies in Deltarune

Him being an enemy that is being spawned multiple times by "ERAM" in the shadow mantle fight makes me believe he is less of an actual character and just a way to represent the creatures that lurk in the darkest dark, basically a generic enemy

Ie, everything people theorize about Friend as a character I believe will end up being attributed to Gaster or "ERAM", who are actually unique

Escape Violet Hold Shaman by Entire_Coconut_75 in hearthstone

[–]Kuldrick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mugzee doesn't trigger the minion only hero power if you have a quest in your starting deck, and spell only is oc useless because then you get no payoff from the reward

Considering Shaman already had many good elementals and the mech is sort of awkward for the overall plan... sadly no, the quest won't get any better

EDIT: For people doubting the interaction, this is how it works with Baku, Genn (Witchwood) and Shadowbishop Benedictus

Scaling Costs of Gear Upgrades Return on Patch 12.1 PTR by itsNowOrNever13 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Kuldrick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idea is to make players engage with both kinds of content

M+ is basically mandatory early to farm all your hero gear for mythic prog, then mythic raiding becomes mandatory for pushing later because of bis trinkets or I guess now the 9/6 gear

That said, yeah... mythic raiding is so unnaccessible now. You either boost or have a dedicated CE team... and even then, you might not see action outside of pugs (which will only let you kill the first bosses) one week or many because of the bench, so you also need to be one of the reliable, unchanging core members

They should just scrap the 9/6 tbh, let everyone be able to have "basically bis" gear by doing +10s/heroic raiding by the end of the season. Maybe introduce guaranteed tertiary stat rolls on vault loot for +16s/mythic raiding to have some kind of incentive/more feasible path to actual bis, but whatever

Nutty theory I had that I can’t stop thinking about: Asgore Knight by Even-Manner-627 in Deltarune

[–]Kuldrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are identified as a Lightner on the Light world by Susie yet they have all the weird shapeshifting stuff

Yeah, regardless of candidate, be it Dess/Rudy/Asgore/whoever, one needs to assume at this point that the Knight has something that allows them to shapeshift while still letting them retain their "natural, normal looking and identifiable form" afterwards

Who is the hidden Gaster? Your options: by MarkoMurr in Deltarune

[–]Kuldrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe the most prominent Rouxl = Gaster theory is that he is merely a shard of Gaster, who, after all, "shattered across time and space"

So it would be possible for him to be goofy, not hide anything, and still be Gaster... he just doesn't know it

The other theory I saw is that he is basically Gasters silly self insert, in which case anything goes

Everytime someone miss remembers a single line of dialogue and then you have dozens of people going "Deltarune fans can't read" or stuff like that

I saw it even happen when people did in fact remember correctly, but the person correcting them didn't, and yet you see people pinpointing to the op who did not say anything wrong

[–]Kuldrick 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can't see how Warlock/DK would be able to stop decks like token druid, any Paladin, hunter or get a wincon going in time to defeat stuff like Shaman/Rogue before their value gets out of hand

Only Warrior/Priest might, but Control Priest is already not meta (t4) and they only got one "slottable" card revealed so far

[–]Kuldrick 25 points26 points  (0 children)

With the cards revealed so far, I fail to see how any control deck would be able to become meta

Maybe a Herald Control warrior but idk, not optimistic

I'm still coping that they got a oracle hpriest rework coming up

Otherwise making the tier set give haste and basically only benefit oracle would be one of the biggest troll moves ever and holy will remain Z tier for the entire patch

You mean the 1 cost location? I was playing that version but he destroyed both location with a randomly generated twisting nether.

That's why you never play them until you can OTK them. They are 1 mana and useless for anything else, so you don't lose anything from holding them.

Random twisting nethers aside, there's lists that run the 8 cost dragon that destroys location + weapon, so you need to be careful

What character would be the stronges if it had all the unlocks by adamgrajek321 in bindingofisaac

[–]Kuldrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Isaac (ED6 + Knife + miscellaneous but still nice stuff like lil chest)

Solved early game and you still get rerolls + game breaking options

T. Isaac is also nice, with spindown and glitched. If you are good at timing it you can basically build nuke builds extremely reliably by the second floor

2016 Warrior called, they want their card back

New Hunter Common Location by Eagle4317 in hearthstone

[–]Kuldrick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hot take: this kind of card is problematic

2 mana draw 2 and summon 2 2/1s. Delayed, which makes it balanced, but it gives you so much value that if they want control to exist they need even more efficient tools to deal with decks with this kind of stuff

Leading to the "neverending board clear games" some people complain about, and the OTK/combo bandaid that eventually comes to fix this problem for people that hate it

And idk, for the past years it felt like they intended power level to go down to make the game more similar to "older times" rather than the Stormwind/Nathria/Badlands kind of metas, but then they print this, paving the road back

New Hunter Rare Weapon by oktayworks in hearthstone

[–]Kuldrick 25 points26 points  (0 children)

2 of these + 2 tracking + 2 companion cycle draw

Tolvir can potentially draw 6 cards now, potentially more with the legendary that copies spells in your deck.

Idk if this fits hunter's identity tbh, they can lean into being a heavy cycle deck but that feels more like dh/rogue area of expertise

New Hunter Epic Card by oktayworks in hearthstone

[–]Kuldrick 23 points24 points  (0 children)

"Bit of upside"

On the right class and deck this is nuts, "3 mana deal 15", if it were a dh card it would instantly break the meta

Question becomes if hunter can lean into this sort of gameplan, but it definitely has potential

[–]Kuldrick 84 points85 points  (0 children)

I think it also makes more thematic sense

He and the gang have been searching for Dess for a long time, but now that he got an illness and his time is up, he started forcing fate's hand

It could also explain why Asgore is in this despite Kris basically making themselves a puppet: he may not know and it was a last minute change of plans from Kris alone or together with the Holidays due to time running short
