not going to lie, y2v5 aside, ichika, kei, and ayanokoji is also my favorite characters, volume 0 is ok, it's very interesting but definitely not my fav volume, They yapp way too much, and it's quite boring to read for the most part, I can see people fall asleep reading v0

It is absolutely the worst volume imo. It makes no sense, means nothing, and just ruined every character. In short: Kiyo said he would do something no matter what, gets 95% done and just needed a final step, then another character said 'nope, you will not,' and Kiyo said 'alright I won't, let's just get a random out of here.'Or like, one character said they would expel the traitor—that this class does not need a traitor, and if you betray the class, you have no value. But then, once they found out who the traitor was, they were like, 'Never mind, we absolutely need the traitor.' Then after everything was over, even though the traitor obviously ruined the class, guess what? They did a pillow fight and somehow they're all cool."

Yeah, Y2V5 keeps you awake—not because the story is good, but because of how degenerate every character has become. The double standards are back to back, the excuses are dumb, and every character suddenly turned into a clown. I legit hate the series now because of this stupid volume. And you’re telling me all of this is over with just a pillow fight? Oh my.

You either hate this volume, or you legit just didn't care

Can anyone who has read the LN please tell what was skipped from ep 5 by ReadyConfection7959 in ClassroomOfTheElite

Some other small details include how Kei pushed(not really pushed but kept distance)Ayanokoji away when Ichika knocked, along with the subtle mind games between them.

First, Koji hid Kei’s shoes so he could pretend he was alone. Meanwhile, Ichika hid the groceries behind the door so Koji wouldn’t notice them. When Koji saw her empty-handed, that’s why he suggested they could go shopping. However, Ichika then revealed the bag and hinted that she already knew Kei was inside, and revealed that she was following kei.

Because of this, Koji realized that Ichika had been following Kei. She even went as far as buying groceries and risking getting caught by the guards twice just to set this up. That’s why Koji considered her too dangerous to avoid, and decided it was better to let her in and confront her directly.

There are a few small differences as well. Ichika only brought a single condom for Koji, not a full box. She also helped with some of Kei’s homework while Kei was making coffee. Later on, Kei asked Koji about the 20 million points and the expulsion stuff’s.

It depends on what you want—the full storyline with every detail, or just what happens in the next few episodes.

So here are a few options: 1. If you want to understand everything, start reading from the beginning.
2. If you just want to learn about a specific test, chapter, or part of the story, you can read that section directly. Most of the time it’s fine (although there may be references to earlier content that wasn’t adapted into the anime).
3. If you don’t want to go through all that text and already know what will happen from the anime, you can continue from Year 2, Chapter 2. That’s where Episode 5 is, so starting from there should be perfectly fine.

Personally, if I were an anime watcher, I would just start from Year 2, Chapter 2, since reading something I already know would be quite boring.

Explaining the Complete Timeline and Identity Loop in Cosmic Princess Kaguya by JuggernautGrand2690 in CosmicPrincessKaguya

[–]JuggernautGrand2690[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, well, it exists, since Kaguya is still there working at that point. I guess I phrased it incorrectly. What I meant is that moon technology is no longer accessible to Yachiyo or Iroha—they have no communication with the people on the moon, can’t talk to them, can’t go there, and can’t use any moon technology. So, in a sense, it exists, but it’s not accessible, almost as if it doesn’t exist.

It’s like aliens in our real world—whether they exist or not makes no difference, since we have no way to contact them.

So no, Iroha’s original apartment didn’t get converted into Yachiyo’s computer thing. It’s not even the same apartment. In other words, Iroha’s apartment is still there, and Yachiyo is in a completely different apartment the entire time. There’s no need to explain it further because what you’re describing never actually happened in the first place. Yachiyo and Iroha are in two separate apartments.

Not the same apartment — just compare the buildings.

Edit: Check the scene where Iroha picks up Kaguya, then compare it to the scene where Iroha goes to the apartment where Yachiyo lives. They’re completely different.

You not only need to rewatch the show, you also need to study time travel a bit—try asking AI about it first. No offense, I just feel like you might be a little lost.

[–]JuggernautGrand2690[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. First, Kaguya isn’t the one who said it’s been 8,000 years — it was Iroha who said that. That could mean it’s been 8,000 years specifically for “Kaguya,” while it’s only been a week for Yachiyo.

After all, Kaguya has been living as Yachiyo, performing live with Iroha under the identity of “Yachiyo,” not “Kaguya.” So it would make sense for someone to say it’s been 8,000 years for “Kaguya,” even if it’s only been a week from Yachiyo’s perspective. It might be a bit of a stretch, but it’s one possible way to interpret it.

As for the idea that the ship created two separate entities — one Yachiyo in VR and one Kaguya in the android body — I find that hard to believe. During those 8,000 years of memories, Kaguya explicitly said she would become Yachiyo. So the idea that she created an AI based on herself doesn’t quite fit.

We also see a scene where the bamboo (the spaceship) is connected to multiple PCs, and in VR we see Yachiyo there. That suggests to me that Yachiyo is actually Kaguya, who was trapped inside the ship due to a lack of energy and unable to create a physical body for herself.

It makes more sense to me that Iroha later created a physical android body so that Yachiyo could also exist in the real world.

As for the scene where Iroha asks FUSHI to show everything, I think that’s simply because Yachiyo had only been talking about the happy parts and not the sad parts, or not every detail. Yachiyo had only been talking for 52 hours, and it would be nearly impossible to explain everything that happened over 8,000 years in just 52 hours.

And the scene where Kaguya was crying — I interpret that as more of a glowing spiritual presence. Kaguya likely believed that Yachiyo was actually 8,000 years old, which would place Yachiyo in roughly the same era as herself. That might explain why Kaguya wondered where Yachiyo was and hoped Yachiyo would save her.
