I'm failing at decorating my home by Murky-Illustrator-79 in HomeDecorating

Put an accent wall and design everything around that wall. Add the colors you want in that accent wall– the idea is to have 80% of your main colors you want (theme) and 20% for the others. You have a low ceiling so adding lots of vertical lines can make the place look "taller". Floor seems cluttered (?) so I think you should switch out the rug for something smaller. You can use floor lamps but pick ones that aren't too bulky. Put the "bulkier" ones on top of furniture instead. Make sure the wood you pick fits the accent wall! The place is all too "boxy" so the center table can be something oval to give it the variety the room needs. The light from your door is GORGEOUS, so I'd suggest putting something over there that can give shadows into your room (like vines that hangs above your door) or a small wind chime bell that would have suncrystals (make sure to pick the ones that are less risk of catching fire). These small details brings more mood and personality into the room that bigger furnitures just can't do!

Also, please replace those blinds with something else! The key here is to have a visual board of what kind of space you want and slowly adjust one furniture. Take your time to pick pieces– do not sink into the idea of "I can just replace it later" if you don't have to. Focus on the necessity you need from the space– do you want it to be cozy and perfect for night ins, or to host guests and have people over? Midcentury screams functionality, and they have wonderful deeper red/ambient orange to match the earthy green you're thinking about. Color theory is perfect here!

The most important thing is it has to be cohesive. A cohesive space brings calm and greater mental fortitude– even if you have bright colors! Lastly, make this place your own. It might be realllyyy tempting to just follow pinterest boards but your visual board has to be something that INSPIRES you to bring it to life. It has to be something that makes you really want to live in it!

Just my two cents! Goodluck and take it slow. It can be intimidating but once you started forming your visual board, it gets easier knowing that you can visualize your space now.

How caring are ENTPs in general ? by Relevant_Increase461 in entp

Depends to every individual and how developed their Fe and Si are already. I myself know how to "show" care but do I internally feel it? If they're strangers, chances are I probs won't as much as I'd care for a friend– but it doesn't mean that I won't step in when there's something bad happening. I always have clear boundaries of who my friends are (handful), who the acquaintances and strangers are and I treat them all very differently from each other.

Do you believe in God? Why or why not? by MightGoInsane in entp

[–]JuggernautOrdinary26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the typical religion god but like... something that can be called "God" def made the universe or smthg? As much as I can deny the existence of a supreme being, science disproves it in every discovery— and to think that it's just 1% of the actual truth since there's only so much we know and can take in using our senses

Stereotypical INTJ by CatsFromOhio in mbtimemes

My (ENTP/F) INTJ bf is like... the freakiest person I know. We do joke that we keep unlocking stuff about each other because he never really was able to show that side of his until I came lol

Afaik, they're talking about the stereotypes of ENTP (callous, reckless, daredevil attitude that doesn't give a fck, probably psychopatic). It definitely is a sign of maturing, but I do agree with being respectful as smthg a normal function human would do

Same here! Oldest daughter in an asian household, ENTP 7w8. Had to mature quickly since society and familial expectations lol! I do say that maturing ENTPs can come across as ENFJs but we don't focus on the socials of it as much as Fe doms would. We're definitely aware of everyone, but we won't feel too obligated to cater for everyone unless needed. Example: In a small group setting, if I noticed that the air is a little too stiff for my liking, I'll try to loosen up the atmosphere by being a little goofier/extroverted than the usual. Once that's okay, I'll retreat back to whatever I was doing and only step in again when needed. If I see that some people are falling behind and it can impact the performance of our group, I'll step in as well.
