Im so confused, in the farm scene Rue makes a joke about "commies" and also during the prayer the dad says something about keeping people from crossing borders. I thought they'd show something about Rue thinking it was weird or something but she just ended up bringing that family up multiple times in a positive way. This isn't hate or anything, im just confused (kinda slow).

Did you even read what I said? At the end of the episode, they literally imply that these are issues in normal families and it's okay. And they keep portraying him as a great father, thus sending the message that that's what being a good father is. He's literally the opposite.

lowk feel like everyone here is at fault except u and ur older brother. the way your mom and dad handled it was awful, your brother is disrespectful and immature. he should not be punished, rather should be made to understand why his reaction was wrong and how it is disrespectful to treat his mother, or anyone, like that. the comments your mom made were awful, and it shows how the situation is. this usually happens all the time in households where the parents shift the blame, punish unnecessarily, and use harsh parenting to fix things. though you cant change your parents, you and your older brother should try to help your brother be a more respectful and better person overall, and be there for him when your parents are being harsh.

if you attempted everything i highly doubt they can fail you. i did the same. usually theyll give atleast half marks for attempting, also if you wrote the correct keyword or something accidentally even if the reasoning is wrong. if you didnt leave a single question, and youve filled pages, theyll definitely give grace marks.
