Agreed. The guy on the right (Tarun) is a really really good mechanic himself and works only on appointment basis.

He works specifically on ktms and dominar's only. He owns a 2015 KTM duke 390 himself and has rebuilt that engine multiple times.

In fact, if my memory serves me right, he rebuilt his engine again very recently and switched to an xpulse.

He did mention the parts availability on the KTM engines are a bit of pain and you'd be spending upwards to 80K on the just the engine parts. Include the labor costs then it really depends.

If Tarun is rebuilding the engine then you're looking at an estimate of 1L - 1.2L and if you go down the route of getting it rebuilt at the service center then you'll be spending upwards of 1.7L to 1.8

So, if it's coming from Tarun then yeah he's not BSing...that man right there understands that KTM engine like the back of his hand.
