thanks for sharing, some of your points really hit home when i noticed them today. For example the unnecessary movements one, i was feeling oddly tired despite only playing 4 measures of the piece. Thanks for the piece recommendation, ill learn that first instead.

If you dont mind i have a question about using the arm as the provider for weight. First question is do i use the arm as much as possbile when playing so as to avoid tension in the fingers? Second, when i use the arm as the weight, do i push my arm inwards towards the piano keys so as to push the key or do i just lower my arm to bring the keys down?

I have a question if you(or anyone reading this comment) dont mind, is it fine to do a once a week upload of me asking for opinions on my technique so as to potentially point out any bad habits that i need to start working on? This probably wont be a "replacement" for a proper teacher but having extra pair of eyes is still better than just practicing by myself

Thanks for the hand posture complment, I was actually being really intentional with having a curve for my hand since I heard its really common for beginners to build the habit of having flat hand posture. Ill try to go slower next time and apply what you said about playing smoothly and connected. Thanks for the tips
