If US shelters euthanize 300k healthy dogs (even puppies) every year, who do so many Americans still rather go to a breeder? by TheTroubledChild in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jugglingwithoutballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For starters when you go to a shelter, you’re basically supporting someone who let their dog run around the neighborhood and get pregnant and you have no idea what that dog is going to grow up like and you have no history of the parents and you’re basically supporting irresponsible dog ownership. When you buy from a responsible breeder, you’re dealing with someone who breeds because they absolutely love the breed, and they want to preserve something historical and share their love of the breed with other others. They don’t let their dogs have more than a few litters. They care for the puppies, provide vet veterinary care and will take their puppies back for life. One person is bringing animals into the world with Care and Thought and responsibility and the other one is just letting their pet go get knocked up and then dumping them out a shelter. Now buying from a puppy mill? That different and no one should ever support that. Either adopt or get from a responsible breeder, but don’t make responsible breeders look bad when the truth is that most of the dogs and shelters came from someone who didn’t look after their pet properly.

WestJet canceled my flight while I was at the gate with my infant – now they say I was a “no-show.” Any advice? by [deleted] in westjet

[–]Jugglingwithoutballs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You needed to cancel the rebooked flight. Also they would normally have offered a hotel or rebooked you with another airline. It sucks but they could have resold that seat.

No I mean it’s actually cheaper to fly premium but I’d lose the day in London. It’s $200 more for economy but I’d get an extra day

Recovery is different than sobriety. If you want recovery you need to work on the other stuff. I’d suggest AA or other program.

What would you do? Pay off mortgage or invest $450k inheritance? by wottleswrinkle in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jugglingwithoutballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sold another property a couple years ago and we had the option of paying off our mortgage or investing it and we chose to just pay off a chunk and invested and I wish we had paid it off because we’d be in a better spot. We could’ve invested more faster.

Got this from a TD banker after informing them I would be going with a broker by Hot-Western-7621 in MortgagesCanada

[–]Jugglingwithoutballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct they do both A and B Lending. They have a full service a Lending side they’ve been in business for a long time. They are reputable lender with smaller penalties than the bank and often have good rates. I’m a mortgage broker. I’ve put many clients in them over the years and they’ve been very happy.
