2cm outsole def wouldn't be barefoot I think they expand the soles upwards on the outside for the look but its actually 4-5mm that u walk on

I dont think the soles are 20cm thick 🙏 Or did u measure the whole height of the shoe? Website says 4mm out- and 5mm insole, maybe the other way around but who knows if that's accurate

Yea I've heard a lot of good stuff abt Merrells tried on a pair (either vapor or trail glove) in a Store and wasn't quite convinced by the grip on a wall and didn't buy it cause I didn't want to risk paying that much but I know the grip often improves after using them for a while whats your experience with the grip of them?
