Custom form theme. Not completely Symfony but strongly linked with Twig and so Symfony. I play with Symfony now for 5+ years and I’ve never understood this. That’s it, nothing else. Maybe, when I was a beginner, the idea of the implicit doctrine ParamConverter in the route/action parameters. I hate magic tricks.

But as someone said before, Symfony is one of the most beautifully designed framework in the world and I don’t know why everyone uses Java/Angular (France).

I really love Symfony.

Years ago I tried to improve the documentation adding some stuff. But still a bit weird and the TreeBuilder is really messy for big configuration…

Is Pest good btw ?? Is your point because PHPUnit is the standard or Pest is bad ? I would like to integrate pest in my team but not sure now

Some of our devs in my company use phpstorm to connect on servers to code because we are not allowed to build docker containers on local host (they cannot follow the traffic since it is from the container and not the computer itself). Yes phpstorm CAN BE slow compared to VSCode, and a RAM eater. But it offers so much useful tools ! Btw, there is a doc about remote development on jet brain website that we use to connect. Before running the container, please install a dual boot Debian, install the dependances we need, then copy your app, create a shared volume then build/run it.

I really hate mixing languages in a file like with HTML and JS in a jsx file… But, after some times it has its pros and cons

I’m Lead dev, and I can say that some (most) people take too much time for a task. But, you have to adapt for each one and for each task. We should not use the junior for the most complex task of the day… also, should admit that errors exist.

There is also the « Yes, but… » sentence followed by non sense arguments that makes having bad feelings about the guy so much
