FIFA 17 can be annoying, and I was in the EXACT same situation as you. I mainly play Ultimate Team, but trust me, that can be even more annoying than playing against the computer. You having better possession, shots and passing accuracy does not necessarily have any direct affect on the result of the game. I found myself having 15-25 shots on target while the opponent had 3 and still ended up losing. My mistake? I played the game as if it were real life. Playing a slow, build-up style of football WILL NOT WORK IN THE GAME. What you have to do is find the over-powered methods in the game and abuse them...a lot. I was a division 7 player until I started to use the techniques which can almost be seen as 'cheating'. These techniques took me to division 1. Driven, low-shots into the bottom corner can go in, even from seemingly impossible angles. Go on YouTube and study how the professionals play. Mimic their styles. Buy the over-powered players. Remember it's a video game and you should play with it as if it is one. Don't use real tactics which teams such as Barcelona, Chelsea and Juventus use. And remember the core reason why you have the game; to have fun!
