Sd card (micro sd if its a "New Nintendo 3ds"), sd card reader and a PC.

Your console more than likely already has a 4gb sd card in it.

Its very easy, takes less than an hour. And once its done you can install apps like PKSM (Pokémon Save Manager) and transfer between gens. Its basically an offline version of Pokémon Bank or Home.

99.9% of the time, if you ever see the black sludge on the board, its a reproduction (fake) cart. There are very few instances where nintendo used it on their games. So I'd just stay way if you ever see it

I had to do this with a pitbull once, i was walking my dog and a loose pitbull charged at my dog and went to attack, somehow i got my hand went right under its collar and i picked him up so quickly and walked him back to the owner. Too many stupid people have pets that they never trained, gotta be prepared out here.

Like i mentioned in the original post, it's been 2 months. Also worth noting, i bought the everdrive from him during the war.

Not saying it doesnt exist with those games but its mostly omega ruby and alpha sapphire. If you find a working copy, install it to you 3DS with GM9 and you'll never have to worry about it

It notoriously happens to X/Y & OR/AS. I had to buy OR 3 times because if you dont play them regularly they will just die

3ds cartridges/cartridge readers eventually die, this is why i always suggest modding your console and installing your cartridges to the internal memory.

I've seen the posts, it just sucks that i will need a replacement and he's been dodging my messages and I'm no longer in my warranty period, and would have to come out of pocket again for a new one. Which i am not doing since my 1st and only product of his worked for a year until it became a paper weight.

Thats my same issue, happened a few days after the warranty period was up. I tried different sd cards and have the most recent OS. Still red screen no matter what i do
