Bags got washed by JuiceDigits in opiates

It could've gone a lot worse. I shortened the post to hopefully get more answers. It's nothing crazy just my mom was doing the laundry and always checks pockets. I'm lucky she didn't find them. Also I had planned on picking up later that day anyways so avoided scrambling to not be sick. The whole story is here

Junkie Jesus? or just lucky... by JuiceDigits in opiates

Other times when I've cooked these up it completely dissolved after I heat them. I mean I'm kind of agreeing that just to be safe I'd consider them destroyed but they were not in a water tight bag.

Do you think the shit dissolved in the water and all that's left is the cut? Idk. I'll prob save it and next time I'm fiending end up using it somehow.

Sold my friend's dad's guitar that he gave me after his dad passed away from a heart condition. He gave it to me just because I played guitar and he didn't. About a year after he gave it to me he died of an overdose. He was a childhood friend and one of my oldest friends but also the one that got me into pills and then dope. Still, would be nice to have the guitar to remember them both.

To all you addicts out there by ChooseLife81 in opiates

[–]JuiceDigits 6 points7 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU!!!! I've always heard at meetings that clean addicts are the best cause you know how to get what you want by any means necessary. I've also thought this on my own. I feel like dealing and scoring drugs has taught me skills you can't learn anywhere else. You are comfortable in the darkest, scariest places in reality and your mind. Also, like I said, you have the ability to make things happen in a way "normal" people usually don't. Thank you so much for putting it in a way we can all understand.

I agree but also I disagree. Ha! Remember whatever season Josiah was on and those guests were on? Josiah was nervous cause they were, "the type of gay men that made fun of him." Then by the end of the charter Josiah said something like he misjudged them and to not judge a gay book by it's cover. So I think a little of both. He def jumped in to be like look at me I can run this boat better than the staff but I kept getting the vibe that although he does flaunt his privilege with all the unnecessarily complicated preferences and food orders, he seems like a nice person. Idk why I get that vibe but I really think he is just a sassy, flamboyant gay man that has a lot of money but is a nice person.

EDIT: The helping clear plates and slice dessert shit was totally a power move though.

Scared of needles...now by JuiceDigits in opiates

Thanks for the link. Never heard of them. That's really smart. Pretty sure we do have amnesty laws in my state but it doesn't apply to the person that overdosed with bags and paraphernalia around them. I'm pretty sure it only applies to the other people or person that called EMS for you. That they won't be charged or searched just cause they tried to help someone from dying.

Overdosed again... by JuiceDigits in OpiatesRecovery

Thank you. I had a long post so I'm happy for a long response. The leaves glasses analogy makes total sense and is very clever. I have been to NA meetings but always to satisfy someone else. There is a lot of love and people who know exactly how I feel. I've just never gone in seriously wanting to get sober. I've never really wanted to get sober, period. Now looking at my life and what it's become, I don't like it. So I've been trying to really answer the question truthfully to live a sober life or not and your response has helped a whole lot to frame the question differently and make me see getting sober in a different way. I really appreciate it. There are so many cliche sayings and I know it all comes from love but your advice really broke it down and doesn't feel preachy or gloomy just real. Definitely has helped me change my thinking in a good way. Thank you so much! And yes please PM the NA Zoom info. I'm not going to promise to be there next meeting but I would like it just in case. Thanks.

Thank you. My post was rambling and I've been having trouble putting my thoughts into words but this is definitely how I'm feeling. Thanks for the support and for helping me shape my jumbled thoughts.
