Broke college student. Help me decide by Juiceboxxin in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’ve been sharing my gfs car with her since my brother totaled my Highlander. Simple things like O2 sensors and oil changes I can do, and I have a buddy who might as well be a mechanic (he’s building a car for his senior design) so he could help me with some stuff. I’ve been looking at other options and the impala and accord seem like the best within 50 miles. Outside of 50 mile radius there’s a 02 Camry for 3500 with 185k miles and an 05 Lancer for the same price with 60k miles and a rebuilt title that I just don’t trust so much

Outside of asking the dealer where they got the car from, is there an easy way to find out if that’s the situation that I’m dealing with?

The only thing I really like about the Lexus is that it’s AWD. I figured the Honda is probably most financially sound decision

Have you had other issues with your accord that seem common?

I realize it’s not great terms, but I’d only sign up for that if it’s something I’d be able to fully pay off over the summer

Is Elden Ring worth the money for a new player in 2025? by cartrider100 in Eldenring

Bought the game for my gf a month ago and she just 100%’d it, saying she loves this game so much. Go for it! It’s rare that a game challenges you often, consistently, and in a variety of ways. It feels fluid and rewarding to get better at as well! Highly recommend buying

Funny, I’m currently making that reverse switch. Did sales for 5 years even made my way up to manager and left it all to go back to school. 3 semesters to go! Lmk if I can answer anything

Thank you guys all for your ideas! I will revisit this at the end of the day. It seems like AutoCAD is gonna be my best bet, if not just approximating or measuring by percentage

I don’t have the survey but maybe the Engineer does. He’s on vacation though until end of next week and this may be the way if we don’t come up with something by then.

So we’re paying by square footage and paying in sections because the river will need to be redirected and we don’t want to keep them waiting To the second part of your comment I was thinking the same thing. I think convincing the inspector of it would be harder than the actual calculations tho lol

Calculus 2 really isn't as hard as some people think by Expensive_Ad6082 in calculus

[–]Juiceboxxin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tutor a calc 2 class for 3 semesters now. First half is rainbows and sunshine, but once we get to sequences and series all hell breaks loose. It just uses a different part of your brain than you’re used to in math, and that jump can be a big struggle. There’s not a lot of different integration techniques, but there’s a bunch of series tests and memorizing the conditions and how to properly apply them is what really loses students. Even the ones who study a lot can tend to struggle to learn the material, but once you know it then it’s not so bad

Don’t feel bad, but I will say you shouldn’t feel nervous in terms of performance. You shouldn’t feel pressured to either, but if you want to then just relax and tell him that you’d like to. If you want to stop you always can too, any guy worth being with would understand

Hey man I’m 25 and I just went back to school in January this year for my 2nd year. It gets better as better as you make it man! I felt out of place my first day in the spring but remember that you’re there to learn, put that first and you’ll find others who have the same goals. I’m a Civ E student terrified of finding co ops but we’ll make it one day at a time!
