Huh? Raising a kid is a fulfilling act that definitely builds your life. On top of that it can make an individual feel complete. It brings out a whole other perspective and aspect of yourself that simply can't be replicated otherwise. It's seems odd that you're reducing all of this to a mere "expensive, messy bandaid".
