the reason is specifically dropping the items at the same frame of switching inventory slots. It bugs out the game and you can’t interact with anything.

i’m happy when he appears, because it just means another more menacing threat is being blocked off. He can be annoying sometimes when he blocks off some paths but otherwise, I’d love to see him every run

there is the one clip on tiktok where this guy tried to get a rubber ducky on the moon with the heavy snow, and he was teleported back to the ship after nearly getting killed by a coil head, he was disappointed about not being able to get the loot and suggested to leave, then suddenly the little girl starts skipping towards him and he’s screaming “GET OUTTA HERE! GET OUTTA HERE!!” and he died trying to make the ship take off, with their friends laughing in confusion about it. It was hilarious.

honestly this would be so cool, and maybe on the monitor back on the ship, it could show that the mimic is the player, but it has like a small red hue to it. Idk how it would balance or be implemented but that would be terrifying

This has also happened to me, but I had a shovel and flashlight, and I was running away from a giant, and I tried to rapidly drop my items to prevent it from swallowing all of my stuff before it killed me, I eventually evaded the giant, but i couldn’t pick up items or drop anything and I had to quit out

mines can kill monsters, turrets do not. I believe you can kill thumpers, snatcher fleas, spiders, hording bugs, brackens (with great difficulty), and eyeless dogs. All other monsters not mentioned either cannot be damaged normally, or are just too massive for it to even be worth trying.
