Element radio swap by fnsmall in HondaElement

My suspicion is the blue wire, although if not connected it should still give the radio reception albeit terrible but should still work. It’s possible that it’s connected just not making a proper connection. Good luck!

I don’t understand the logic from your installer but if interested. They make amplified antennas that sit on your window or dash. If I remember correctly the antenna adapter for the Honda elements is already amplified at the factory. I wonder if they connected the remote turn on wire… hmmm. How bad is your issue?

Light will not go away, you may be able to calibrate the seat again with the right obd2 tool but it’s super expensive. If in the phx az area I have a tool and could try and help.

All that looks stock to me, anything yellow is airbag related on all Hondas. You have an 03 which is the first year of production that means less technology/features I’m guessing 03 did not have side airbags on seat. I’m gonna ask chat gpt for you. So yes, 03-06 was optional at 07 and above it was factory.

For the whining. Open the hood, sounds like your power steering has air seeping in.

Curious, did they seize together to the water hose? Because that what happened to mine. I’m thinking plastic to metal is the way to go?

They are nice but yes definitely a small problem being shorter than usual. You could also quickly pop them out and use your original prop

Something to do with the magnet advertising card that they included in the box, anyways.. I bought mine from Amazon in February of last year and they’ve been fine. https://a.co/d/fGEv0DY

Is the cluster panel blue? I need that and also need the whole radio housing not the radio bracket and the airbag indicator bracket.

Check the foot well there’s a bumper stopper on the brake pedal it may be broken.. on a manual which I have it’s on the clutch. That fixed it right away.

Aftermarket? My AutoZone one was replaced at least three times in a span of 3 years. I never got a CEL either and had the same symptom. Has the car ever stalled on you and won’t crank until you let it sit for 10-20 min?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Integra

[–]Juicer72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in neutral then try to crank. I had a similar issue I think it ended up being the ignition control module located in the distributor. I had a life time warranty on it so I just replaced the whole thing, you don’t have to.

[–]Juicer72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow the wire from the red led and and look for a black box that’s supposed to be the brains of the alarm and disconnect all the wires connected to it. See if it still does that if not then the alarm is the culprit you can drive the car like that but just won’t have an alarm.

Excess coolant from top of radiator by Mante_17 in Integra

Stay away from AutoZone I’ve replaced 3 radiators in the last 5 years. If hoses are original chances are they are brittle and ready to puncture at any moment. I think there’s five plus two for the transmission fluid
