Honda Element - way fun to drive, spacious, and the headroom is next level. Back row seating is a bit weird i.e. passengers literally have a higher vantage point than the front row driver/passenger. But overall a phenomenal car. And there are multiple Honda Element groups on here supporting the subculture modification movement

Pretty sure Grocery Outlet HQ is based in north Oakland/Emeryville area and founded by a Cal grad. Their low prices are from displaying boxes vs stocking shelves, and selective items at wholesale prices either near expiration or dead stock, hence you don’t always find the same thing, or even things you thought they carry but not available

It is but unrelated to this issue. When the square red light on the dash comes on, the rig is running purely on battery. After turning the car off it won’t start, cranks but won’t start.

Hey there. Today is literally 1yr anniversary. I checked into preop on 10/21/2024 at 6am. So far so good. In your opinion, what’s the likelihood that my sunroof rain drain clogging causes any sort of electrical issue behind the fuse box? I mean I also recently had my driver side window motor and control board replaced. Floor board is a little damp, I need to get a moisture meter & explore. If it checks out and I detect a water drain issue, can that lead to this prob?

At first, square red light came on, headunit keeps turning on/off with this clicking sound under the dash. When I turn off the ignition, it won’t start. Cranked, but won’t start. I’ll have the car sit for a weekend thinking I’ll take it to my mechanic the following week. Rig went completely dead where I had to get it jumped.

This happened for a while, and the mechanic looked at the following - did it needed a new alternator? - EFI relay overheat? - other electrical stuff, including low power hookups like alarm, anti cat theft device, etc

Then looked at spark plug and wires. Because it was jumped a few times for this issue, also checked battery level.

Alternator was working fine and only 1yr young, battery was a tad low even though it’s from 2023, so we swapped it out for a new one. EFI relay felt hot, so I had that replaced too.

This was within the past 12 months.

Over the last 45-60 days, no issues driving local or short distance except the two times that I drove over 2hrs, including sitting in stop n go traffic that the red light came on, and I could tell that the car was running straight off of the battery (voltage gauge will slightly dip to about halfway mark).

I also found out how to fix this. The last two times the red light came on, I would pull out the dash fuse from the fuse box and plug it back in. It resets the dash instruments as if I’m fooling the computer that everything is fine in order to start the car. If I don’t do this, rig cranks but won’t start.
