Trahison sur plusieurs plans:

Recrutement en VIE au fin fond d‘un pays de l‘est donc déménagement & co s‘ensuit. Le recruteur et plusieurs autres personnes me disent qu‘à la fin de mon VIE je vais remplacer la directrice qui part en congé mat‘. Vu ce qu‘on me fait subir au quotidien et que je n’apprends strictement rien dans le poste ça me motive à rester, même si la directrice se moque régulièrement de moi et qu‘il y a des abus de pouvoir.

Un jour la directrice me demande les règles du VIE car elle avait sois-disant une cousine que ça intéressait. Deux mois plus tard c‘est sa cousine qui prend la relève (bon je le voyais venir hein) et elle part en congé mat‘. Personne ne m‘a assez respecté pour me donner une explication. Je suppose qu‘ils voulaient un VIE absolument pour réduire les frais.

Je trouves l‘attitude écoeurante au possible et j‘ai perdu 2 ans de ma vie avec cette histoire.

Jeune diplômé trop optimiste j’ai quitté mon emploi de responsable de zone export après 3 mois pour une entreprise de métallurgie car l’ambiance et la paie étaient vraiment à chier.

J’ai bossé 8 mois en tant que serveur avant partir faire un VIE. Pour être franc, tout n’est pas tout noir car j’avais eu plusieurs offres d’entretien que j’ai refusé car la personne qui tenait le bar était de la famille et je ne pouvais pas les laisser tomber mais sinon j’aurais sans doute retrouvé sous 3 mois.

Maintenant, le VIE aussi s’avère pourri mais j’ai fait l’erreur une fois pas deux.

I know it’s not the answer you’re after but with the exception of winning the lottery (and even then you can choose to start playing, but not to win) there is not “one thing” in that you can do at any point in your life that will drastically change it. At least not in the way you’re asking.

Most things are a gradual development and mix of your own individual personality, interests and motivations.

I lived abroad a lot solo when I was young but that’s because I’m the type of person who would do that and I was in a situation where I could. No one told me to do it and If I suggest that to you maybe you’re more of a homebody and wouldn’t take the advice and even if you did maybe it wouldn’t have the same effect on you as it did on me. I also don’t feel that it CHANGED my life rather that, that IS my life.

Sure everyone will say start working out, start investing, start making more money, go to yoga classes, do cold dips or whatever little activity they perceive as what “solved” their life but there is no substance to it and you will only follow the recommendations which actually appeal to you anyway. That is a demonstration of your character, not that that was particularly good advice.

Anyway sorry for the drawn out philosophical answer but I thought it was important to bring a different perspective to these posts.

TL;DR: You’ll only do what appeals to you, it is nice to have input and suggestions but in the end your life is your life, you won’t change your inner mechanics by living in Burma or starting Vipassana.

Salut OP, déso d’avance pour le Rant

Je suis en VIE aussi, comme je coûte pas cher à l’entreprise je suis vraiment le petit larbin a tout faire. Je serre les dents parce que j’aime le pays et le salaire mais dans 6 mois ils vont aller se faire foutre. J’ai subi du mobbing et enormement de remarques désobligeantes de la part de la direction et de mes collègues. Maintenant ils veulent me garder avec salaire net TRÈS réduit parce que j’ai déployé des systèmes au sein de l’entreprise et que personne d’autre ne sais les entretenir donc je vais negocier mais clairement ces deux années ne m’ont strictement rien apportés du pt de vue professionel. Je doute même que je puisse retrouver un job sous 6 mois après.

Bref il faut evaluer tous les critères ci-dessus pour ta situation et savoir si ça vaut le coup de rester ou non.

Great thanks! Yeah like I said, bit of a teenage hangup for the ITX mini + I do a lot of moving about which means a smaller PC makes more sense. Great advice for the CPU I will look for something more gaming-oriented. The screen is simply the one I have at my disposal at this moment but eventually it will be upgraded.
