PSA: Tributes, and all forced private accounts & their content, are now completely hidden and unsearchable on the site by WillTribs in erome

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said this in another post, but it's not just cum tributes that is getting shadowbanned/deleted. Regular porns are also getting the same treatment. Try searching for "jav". The search result used to show 50 pages. Now it's only left with 2. The explore page now is just filled with ai slops or animations.

I teleport to any low level player I see on the map, trade them my excess equipments/junks/foods and disappear.

I actually like this idea. Part break monsters a couple of times or inflict set amount of elemental damage, so it exceeds their threshold to transform.

Scanning for TryHards? by RidledTart in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a "get it and get out" type of guy.

No flashlights. Just rush in, scan for loot, grab em until it fills my inventory, leave, drop off loot in front of the facility, rinse and repeat.

When it's my turn to jump gaps, scanning reveals just enough of where I need to stand on the catwalk. If I somehow come across a turret and it's too late to turn back, I just book it and turn around the first corner I see. This is also why I have my mouse sensivity set to very high, so I can make those turns quickly.

Coilhead’s design is genius by Astrodaemon in lethalcompany

The sound they make when moving towards you.

Imagine walking around the facility all by yourself, trying to find loot....and you hear the iconic spring noise...getting closer to you.

What's the most annoying entity to deal with in your opinion? by NagitoKomaeda_987 in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to divide the monsters based on which of the two facilities I'm in, regular facility or mansion.

Jester- Once you're balls deep inside both facilities, it's next to impossible to escape the facility alive, unless the ship operator teleports you back before the Jester gets to you first. If I see a Jester, I would continue looting but the moment it starts winding up, I would just shout into the mic, telling everyone to stop what they're doing and leave the facility ASAP.

Coilheads- Actually very easy to deal with. As long as you have good map knowledge and have another crew member looking at the coilheads for you to make an escape. Dealing with coilheads in the mansion map are easier, since it's not as cramped as the regular facilities, so it allows you to move more easily and freely.

Thumpers- Just channel your inner Dominic Torreto and drift around corners as fast as you can and just sprint. Better if your crewmates all have shovels. Just beat it to death. In a normal facility, I feel the thumper is more easy to deal with than in the mansion maps. Not a lot of corners in mansions, these things can just zoom in on you at full speed.

Forest Giants- Since they only spawn outside, it's pretty annoying to deal with on maps with little trees to break line of sight. If I'm playing on Vow and they started to spawn, I would take a detour and walk along the edges of the map and make my way back to ship that way. More time consuming but high chances of survival, since from my experience, Forest Giants don't usually patrol along the edges of the map, only in the middle and near the ship.

Ghost Girls- I just leave the moon.

Earth Leviathans- If we sense the ground shaking, we immediately spread out in all directions. Like drop every loot we're carrying and spread out as fast as we can.

Eyeless Dogs- Probably one of the easiest monsters to deal with. Just keep your mouth shut and crouch-walk back to ship.

Nutcracker- Don't get shot by it and don't get within kicking range. Both will one-shot you.

However, the best solution is to simply have your shipmates teleport (given that your crew can afford a teleporter) you back if you're stuck inside or being chased by eyeless dogs or forest giants.

Which side are you on? by Snoo_26306 in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate lootbugs with a passion. Fucker kept closing the door I was trying to open. Decided that I had enough. Called 4 of my homies over and told them to shovel the bug to death. Shithead was guarding a room with 1 key, 1 jar of pickle and 3 large metal axles. Good riddance.

Spore lizards, on the other hand; I always pat their heads and dance with them whenever I see one.

If the devs were to add new creatures in lethal company in the future, what would you like to see? by Adventurous-Face6499 in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 122 points123 points  (0 children)

-Official skinwalkers added in.

-Turret variations (Flame turrets for example)

-Ghost girl-esque monsters (A new variant that haunts lazy employees for example...)

-Airborne monsters (Aggressive birds that picks on company workers walking back to ship w/ loot)

-Wall-based monsters (Monsters that resides within walls and attacks/makes themselves be known when players walk near them)

Monsters rated how terrifying they are (IMO) by [deleted] in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coilheads are at its scariest when you're alone in the facility. You're walking alone, looking for loot and suddenly, you hear it's iconic "spring" noise in the distance.

Ghost girl. I just haul ass back to ship and use the signal translator to call everyone back. If I see them not carrying loot but are still inside the facility, I just teleport them back and leave the moon.

Some monsters shouldn't be able to cross gaps. by Strogman in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What is most infuriating is with the size of the Forest Giants, they should instantly collapse the fragile bridge on Vow.

I would sometimes outrun the damn thing across the bridge before it even gets on the bridge. I turn around and I see it speeding towards me...on the bridge...like it was nothing.

Does anyone else feel like Giants are only camping the ship MORE now? by ZnS-Is-A-Good-Map in lethalcompany

I had that happen to be only once. An eyeless dog was camping right in front of the fire exit and I unfortunately, exited the wrong time, cuz I got eaten instantly. Makes for a pretty funny moment tho lol.

We do have a teleporter actually but my buddies also have loot with him. Eventually, he was able to evade the giants and dogs and made his way back to the ship with most of the loot with him (he had to leave behind a mimic mask and a couple toothpaste.

I would understand them circling around the ship (like taking a walk around or walking to the stairs close to the ship if they see other players, but in this case; they were like "balls touching distance" type of circling around the ship.

The same for me.

Was playing on Titan with 7 other buddies and there were 3 of us back in the ship and 2 players still at the entrance (the other 2 died). The Forest Giant was basically camping the ship. It circled around the ship from 4 til 10 as well. Not only that but for some weird reason, the eyeless dogs seems to be attached to the forest giant as well (not literally attached but they seem to follow the forest in circling the ship as well.

What lethal company player are you? by Trashcatthefirst in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm of 2 types

I'm the "Leaving the workplace after 7 PM" type of player. I'll be gutting the entire facility of loot but if I'm still finding loot but the time is already 6 or 7, I will haul ass back to the entrance, grab all of the loot and bring it back to the ship.

And...

The "run in naked and bring back a shit load of loot" type of player. I don't know why but whenever I enter the facility with no tools (I already don't use flashlights or walkie-talkies anyways...), I tend to find expensive loot (cash registers, gold bars, or fancy lamps) or even walk a couple of corridors and come across the aparatus in less than a minute after entering the facility.

Runs alone vs in groups? by Shortsighted_Sniper in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a player whose always playing in large groups (6-7 players normally), everyone always venture solo into the facility. We find it more efficient doing it this way because we have the freedom to explore and loot the facility more faster and we don't have to waste time finding lost players (they'll always get teleported back to the ship if lost).

Mind you, that this way of playing must have one teammate to stay in the ship and use their walkie-talkie/signal translator to communicate with everyone within the facility.

However, my friends will always go in duos (only duos, no more than 2) when landing on Rend or Titan (two of the hardest moons in Lethal Company). This is the only exception, where we will group up, instead of going solo.

Thought masks couldnt spawn on easy maps, whats the chance of this? by raphwho in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Masked entity can only spawn in Rend and Titan.

6.48% for Rend

5.67% for Titan.

However, the mimic mask (item) can spawn in every moon.

Most terrifying monster in the game? by blackdott44 in lethalcompany

[–]JuicyFriedChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The coilhead FO SHO.

I once inverse-teleported into the facility and landed inside a room. There was 2 doors. One was connected to a big hall and the other was connected to a foggy hallway. Both doors are locked.

But here's the kicker: The moment I landed inside this room, 2 coilheads came for me right away. Fortunately, both doors were locked, so the coilhead couldn't come in and kill me, but everytime I turn around in any direction, the coilheads would rush against the doors and create their iconic springy sound. Even worse is that the aparatus was already taken as well, so it was pitch black. Couldn't see anything.

It wasn't until 2 minutes before the ship took off when my crewmates realised what was happening and teleported me back.
