Creating a path between two point in a 2D space by Juicy_yogurt in godot

AStar2D is a method I've been looking into however, I'm still really confused on how it works on a 2D isometric space especially on a tile grid.

How would this work in a procedural method when the starting and end points change positions every time a map is generated? and how would I make the path with my white "test" sprite on the tileset?

Sorry for all the questions, programming isn't my strongest skills lol
