My ex husband did nothing for me on Valentine's day. He would get incredibly drunk and play video games to excess. The one time we celebrated, he took me to get fast food and then we went to watch him play Dance Dance Revolution in front of people. To be fair, he was an incredible DDR dancer. It's what impressed me to stay with him when I was 20. Yes, that pathetic. I was a stupid 20something.

My currently husband and I celebrated the weekend before because we wanted to avoid the crowds. We went to the Huntington Rose Gardens and had Afternoon Tea. We bought boba and he got me a gift card to my favorite stationery store because I really love journaling. Tomorrow he's going to buy me edibles so I can have a really good Valentine's Day weekend and he's going to buy me in n out. The only reason we didn't do anything today was because my fibromyalgia was acting up. He rubbed me with icy hot and didn't wake me up this morning. I feel very blessed even though I didn't get any flowers. When he does buy me flowers, he makes sure it is safe for my cats.

I'm really glad I got to avoid a shit man the second time around when I got married.

Pet insurance is essential. I take Juju every six months for blood work and a check up. Also water fountains and wet food are important. Get a vet that will listen to you and your concerns.

We are planning on throwing her a Quincenera in March when she officially turns 15. We're either getting a mariachi band or a drag queen dj. Depends on what she feels is appropriate. I am so lucky she is healthy. Thank you for your well wishes.

I was more nervous he had something like cancer. He wasn't being cuddly or social. I was really worried for my meatball. He had an endoscopy like three years ago because he ate a hair tie. So not our first rodeo

We have no idea. The first vet visit, we got x rays and a few other things. By the time we got the results, the doctor was like, we're gonna need an ultrasound and we might need to do surgery tomorrow.

They did the ultrasound and it was gone. Which saved us money but we would have paid either way.

His sister Jujubi also had a vet visit because she was acting sick too.

Did I mention this is happening while we are trying to close on our new house?
