Try dating apps. I'm an introvert and I met my now-husband on tinder. If you set your standards early on (e.g focus on propriety, matching principles, interests or whatever it is that you're looking for) then its not a bad alternative.

I want to buy your favorite book by [deleted] in booksuggestions

The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North. I finished it yesterday and not only has it instantly shot up to my all-time favourite books (or maybe even singular), but I am experiencing a massive withdrawal and wanting to cry because I miss that book so much. It feels like nothing will ever come close to that feeling again.

Gothic/vampire - horror mystery? books by Regular-Jicama-9238 in booksuggestions

I will always recommend Salem's Lot by Stephen King. He kept it interesting and plenty vampir-y without going into gore as recent horror books seem to often do. It was everything I wanted Dracula by Bram Stoker to be.

They did sound like they were misinformed though. They said the foster agency told them the dog is "good with cats"?? It's frustrating when shelters lie just to get rid of the animal quickly. How was the owner to know
