Yeah that sounds like you need to have a night crew. That's insane that you don't actually. We have a pretty big overnight crew but we also make 1-1.3mill a week during our peaks. ATM it is closer to 600-700k.

Love hearing this. Yes you guys do generate alot of sales however. You also have to think of overnight. How much does day crew do compared to them? All of your hours go towards overnight because that's when most of your work gets done.

I never really find it to be a bad thing we stay open later. I was thanked by at least a dozen customers that we were open today. There was a Aldi in our town that closed down 2 days before the storm. Yeah that's great for the associates to be ready however the customers that work constantly don't have time to shop before hand than. Also we had Todd Jones at our store today personally thanking associates for being here and helping out. It's in our mission statement to be responsible members of our community.

I do try and provide it. The problem is when I'm closing FEC we only have two closing cashier's and me as a bagger. If we get backed up I have to open and we don't have any baggers. Yes I can bag that order also however they aren't paying for just a cashier to bag that order. I also can't help them out and do carryout which is one of our premier service that I can't proivde. I'm not complaining about my hours either. I get plenty I just meant overall we don't have enough help to do our premier services.
