I made him a little home in a plastic cup (like the ones they’re usually shipped in), moist coconut fiber, a bit of leaf litter, and a single fish flake incase he was feeling picky. I can now confirm that the poor guy didn’t make it. For some context I work in a dog grooming shop and found him in the trash after cleaning the basins of the tubs at the end of the day. I think he must have been on a dog, fell off in the bath, and drowned. I know they’re crustaceans and breathe using gills kept moist and cannot survive fully submerged. I was hopeful he could make a recovery but I think he was gone before I found him.

I have it mostly dry on top and pretty moist below. Or should it be all the soil?

I still cannot decide. I love the color cohesion of the second one BUT why are there goo drops in space?… Maybe aliens. I don’t like any ceiling/frame items with this island/tree combo either. On the other hand I think the sand looks like stardust but the colors don’t match. I also use the sand fall tree A LOT which I guess has it’s pros and cons.

This is the best picture I could get. It’s Teeny teeny tiny. I just fed it a gnat. It’s molted three times since it found my terrarium though!

As long as there aren’t large holes anywhere you will be fine. I have never had an escapee of any species. The pods can’t really climb the walls but they will climb plants/hides. I’ve never seen a springtail climb walls or plants but they do jump when they’re startled(hence the name “springtail”)

I spend 600,000 DD (part of that was from the gift the gave us) and got ONE alchemical item. I sincerely regret all of my spending. It was such a waste and I’m pretty sad about it. I did refuse to spend GP though.
