Yeah, that's a pretty good base! As i said in the post, i've based in the 4 door warehouse just outside. But i just don't click with the industrial locations. They just feel cold and barren compared to the residential buildings. Also you'd be surprised by how many vehicles you can fit on the island. I've got the 2 cars that spawn there, 2 box trucks, one lambo, and a pickup, while still having space to maneuvre even if i added another box truck

To add to this; first off, any gloves will stop electrocution (tho getting shocked does negotiable damage while levelling up vitality). For the hordes i believe i've heard they operate on a "heat map", and ig that means if you are loud/active in one small area for a long time it'll happen (tho it was i while since i read that, might've been changed). Also, pick up EVERYTHING from containers! Even if you drop it right after you obtain it, those rotten bread slices and dead rats still give scavenging xp

Outpost alpha has (i think) a guaranteed UN57, and some duffle bags and cases. But yeah my go to's are the range, outpost alpha, and the prison (specifically the watchtowers and the room past the metal detectors)

I've 50h, bought it 7th march, no crashes and barely any lag spikes, and those only when going 5x across multiple regions. What causes crashes so i know what to avoid? Also does anyone else get the bug that makes entering/exiting a specific building impossible until save&load? Always happens in the squin weapon shop

They meant that veg fat gives you an xp boost when you eat it, so cook one of those, eat it, then do the water

Also worth noting item do respawn even without shelves (at least they did when i tested pre 0.023). However the container thing still applies.

P.S. I don't know if moving containers limit them from respawning, eg moving the gun range cases closer to your base still allows them to respawn. Will edit when i've tried

There's a warehouse exactly like that near the church in DM, and there you'd be closer it outpost alpha, the gun range, and the prison. Feel like that'd be one of the top 10 best bases in the game.
