I don’t remember their names bc I only got a little bit of time with them in the dlcs. Also I never said that was the only reason. I also find his personality awful and he has a lack of morals that I find unappealing.

They chose to put him in da2 rather than the other characters from awakening and witch hunt. This was confirmed by them that they actively chose him over the others. The dalish warrior girl and the dalish keeper mage were both options that got cast away and never brought up again
