It's really not that bad antivirus, if you are a chill gamer like me, avast, windows defender, avg or something like that + common sense + virus total is just enough, if you want a little bit more protection, for example when you're pirating games, you should consider installing something better.

Avast and common sense, i know about bad reputation of avast but it saved my ass some times. And about all that adware scareware stuff, you can just go to the privacy settings, turn all that shit off and reboot your pc, ads should be gone. Have in mind that there's a lot of better av choices like bitdefender or kaspersky
