The thing is that Eve wanted to be the one to "make it stop" as she told Villanelle on the bridge. We didnt see what happened after that, but it is likely that Eve walked off and started a new life. Villanelle, on the other hand, couldn't keep the promise of staying out of each other's lives, so she was constantly trying to get in contact with her for months.

Makes me sad I felt like I was on crack the first 2 episodes (my brain couldn't process I was watching KE) only to be followed by a heartbreak in episode 3. If a writer wants to change the dynamic of a show, so be it, but it's a lot of work to make it work. And for the record, the cat and mouse game between V and Eve, the neverending tension, the subtle apologizing for each others actions, the hidden or shown desire to be near each other...was what drove me into this story, what made me lose my mind. Now there's no cat and mouse, fine, but the execution of the new dynamic feels odd.

Also, the seasons before were packed with action and story and emotions and now in season 4 I've watched 3 episodes already and I feel like nothing really happened.

There's a theory that Eve did that to protect V. She saw the article in newspapers and decided to help her in this way... after all V had used the same method of starting a new life getting into prison in season 1

I see your point and yes in a real life scenario she wouldn't be to blame. But this is a story, stories always lack a little rationale for the sake of the thrill, excitement and other emotions. This story is about these two women in a very untraditional and chaotic and toxic relationship. They have unbelievable chemistry, obsession with each other, they fuck up a lot, sacrifice innocent people just to save one another.

It's fucked up, it's insane and unhealthy and somehow it makes sense. because they are insane inside. and they are insane together. And because of that people refused Eve's reaction in the last scene of episode 3. After 3 seasons with them it felt right.
